I kept myself busy yesterday making Christmas Favour Bags to give for
Christmas. They are really budget friendly, perfect when you just want
to “give a little heartfelt gift” to someone else and still manage a
“How!” factor. I went to the supermarket, bought some chocolate treats
and found these really cute mini candy canes. Use scraps of fabric,
craft supplies you already have, leftover ribbon, (whatever you want)

How to care for Holiday Poinsettia Plants
Learning how to care for Holiday Poinsettia Plants can be very
rewarding. Poinsettia Plants came in different colours but, of course,
the red one is the most popular one. Although it’s a winter plant and a
very fussy one, treated correctly it can last a all year till next
Christmas, but it is very challenging.

Handmade Christmas Cards - make your own!
Handmade Christmas Cards are so much fun to make ( if you’re into
crafting, of course – my mother would roll her eyes if she heard me
saying that…), but I really love making them. And I do make them, every
year. They’re not too time comsuming. It’s really up to you and the kind
of decorations you want to add to the cards.
Take a few shortcuts, some
glue and scissors and you can make stunning looking cards

Miss Vilma's Homemade Italian Bread
This Homemade Italian Bread is to die for! Last week I went to visit a
friend for her birthday and her mother had this divine looking (and
tasting) bread on the table for us to help ourselves. Miss Vilma is a
great cook – one of those really traditional, recipes in her head,
measures by the cup, “I think this is about right” kinda cook – we love
those don’t we?!…, so I knew it was going to be heaven…and it was. I
asked for the recipe and her permission to share it on the website.

Homemade delicious Scones
Homemade scones are one of my favourite tea time comfort foods. I found
this recipe many years ago in an old cooking magazine my grandmother had
and I’ve been making these ever since. Easy to make and a comfort to
the soul. I had a friend over for tea on Sunday and the scones were the
perfect treat on a rainy day. Simply delicious.
