Miss Vilma's Homemade Italian Bread

This Homemade Italian Bread is to die for! Last week I went to visit a friend for her birthday and her mother had this divine looking (and tasting) bread on the table for us to help ourselves. Miss Vilma is a great cook – one of those really traditional, recipes in her head, measures by the cup, “I think this is about right” kinda cook – we love those don’t we?!…, so I knew it was going to be heaven…and it was.
