The Four-patch Quilt block is such an easy way to start quilting (if
you’re feeling brave enough, and I hope you are!). The first quilt I
made was a baby boy quilt I actually started with triangle square
blocks, but at the time I had help from my teacher, Helen Cabral (you
can check out her lovely blog here)
so I had a safety net in case I made a mistake. Starting with a
four-patch is really the way to go if you’re starting out, and it’s such
a versatile block
