Lourenço is teething... meaning really sore gums, night fever, constant drooling, tantrums and chewing on anything he can get his hands on...I remembered I have a box where I keep really small scraps of fabric hoping to maybe one day use them for something. I just wanted to make a simple chewing toy using different types of fabric so he could feel different textures and help sooth his gums. I didn't know what the end result was going to be but here it is : an odd looking toy that reminds me of an octopus! Well, Lourenço seems to like it!
Os dentes do Lourenço estão novamente a querer romper as gengivas e nota-se que ele está a passar um mau bocado. Está menos paciente, baba-se constantemente e põe tudo na boca que as suas mãozinhas conseguem alcançar..Lembrei-me que tenho uma caixa com restos de tecidos pequenos que guardei na esperança de, talvez, algum dia usa-los nalgum dos meus projectos. Apenas queria fazer um brinquedo usando tecidos com tamanhos e texturas diferentes que ele pudesse por na boca á vontade e ajuda-lo a aliviar um pouco as gengivas. Comecei a coser sem fazer a menor ideia do que iria sair dali mas o resultado foi este: um brinquedo esquisito que me faz lembrar um polvo! Bem o Lourenço parece gostar!
